The state of California has issues surgical masks and hand sanitizers to the state's small businesses at no cost. Here are the details via a press release from Community Development Services.

Community Development Services (CDS) in Kelseyville has been allocated 142,300 surgical masks and 8,100- 16.9 oz bottles of hand sanitizers to be made available to Lake County small businesses at no cost through the California Governor’s Office of Emergency Services (CalOES) in collaboration with the Office of the Small Business Advocate (CalOSBA). These State allocated surgical masks and hand sanitizers are intended to offset costs to small business for such supplies in maintaining compliance with State safety mandates related to COVID-19. Businesses are encouraged to use these supplies for both employee and customer safety as appropriate and to keep “Lake County Open for Business.”
CDS wishes to work with all Lake County business associations, the Cities of Clearlake and Lakeport, Lake County Health Services and interested parties to ensure the fair and equitable distribution of these supplies to Lake County small businesses.
Once pick up locations are confirmed, we encourage all business associations to pass on this information to their members, so everyone can respond in a timely manner to CDS and the Lake County Chamber of Commerce.
CALL TO ACTION
To coordinate access to this resource for businesses in your community, please contact CDS at 707-279-1540 or andlucas@att.net or the Lake County Chamber of Commerce at 707-263-5092 or ceo@lakecochamber.com   by end of business Tuesday, August 4.
Confirmed distribution sites will be required to gather basic contact information from recipients that includes business name and contact and number of masks and hand sanitizers received.
